Version: 1.0 | Effective date: 11 October 2026
This notice explains how Thryve Platforms Limited handles personal information in vendor applications and vendor relationships. Contact us at info@thryveplatforms.com about this notice or your privacy rights.
Information covered
We process the information you submit, including your name, email address, telephone number, business and shop details, and any address you provide. Vendor administration may also require identification, verification documents, bank details, product information, correspondence and transaction records. We record your acceptance of our vendor terms, the date and time, the terms version and your separate promotional-email preference.
Purposes and legal bases
We use information to assess your application, verify details, create and manage your vendor account, communicate about orders, arrange fulfilment and payments, resolve complaints and maintain acceptance records. Processing necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract or to perform our agreement relies on that contractual basis. We also process information to meet legal obligations and, where appropriate and balanced against your rights, for legitimate interests such as preventing fraud, securing the service and resolving disputes. Optional promotional emails rely on your separate consent.
Who receives information
Access and disclosure must be limited to what is needed for the relevant purpose. Recipients may include authorised Thryve personnel, hosting and technology providers, payment providers, delivery partners and professional advisers. Relevant store and product information is displayed to shoppers; fulfilment information is shared as needed for orders. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to an authorised regulator. Where information is transferred outside Nigeria, applicable data-protection requirements and safeguards must be met.
Retention and protection
Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the application or vendor relationship and for applicable accounting, legal, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution needs. It must then be deleted or anonymised unless further retention is required by law. Access controls and other appropriate safeguards must be used to protect personal information.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, or object to processing, where applicable under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Contact info@thryveplatforms.com to exercise your rights; identity verification may be required. You may also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
Optional promotional emails
Promotional-email consent is optional and unticked by default. Declining it does not prevent vendor registration. You can withdraw consent at any time using an unsubscribe option where provided or by emailing info@thryveplatforms.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. Essential account, order and service messages are separate from promotional emails.
Required information and updates
If you do not provide information needed to verify or administer your application, we may be unable to complete onboarding. Acknowledging this notice is not blanket consent to unrelated uses of your information. Material changes to this notice will be communicated as appropriate, and fresh consent will be requested where required.
